LaShonda Renee Speaks

LaShonda Prim, known as the Dazzling Diva is motivating and empowering thousands of women and girls across the nation. Founder of Dazzling Divas Empowering Women Toward Success 501c3, she is not only motivating women but transforming lives one woman at a time.  Her messages are birthed from personal life experiences and obstacles she has faced throughout her life.  The messages are meaningful and full of inspiration that all women, young and season can relate to.  LaShonda is from Charleston, S.C., married to Aswad Prim and mother of 7 beautiful children Brandon, Aswad Jr., Kai’Asya, Darius, Antoine, Asjiah and Aiyana. She served in the U.S. Army as a Unit Supply Specialist for 5 years.  After being medically discharged from the military, she gained employment with Department of Defense as a civilian employee for an additional 5yrs.  She recently decided to resign from her position as purchasing and procurement specialist to pursue her dream of motivating and empowering other women and young girls to walk in purpose.  By trade she is a cosmetologist and is now renewing minds and bodies as a health and wellness coach.  She has an AA in Business Management and is currently working on her BA in Business administration with a concentration in management.  She co-authored in a Best-selling collaborative book called Moments In Her Story part 2 and an extraordinary author of her own story. She released her 1st book, Journey Through the Eyes of a Teen Mom July 23, 2016. Both are in effort to motivate and inspire women beyond their flaws, short coming, past and current circumstances.  Her most recent book project is a self-help guide called The Single Mother’s Guide to Success.  She shares tips on how to make what you have work for you in the areas of faith, finances, fitness and relationships.   Her philosophy is when God says move you must do so.  The word M.O.V.E. means Motivating Women to Overcome Obstacles, Vision success and Embrace change.  The Dazzling Divas organization has been active since 2014 and created a youth movement called New year New attitude New Youth Explosion, a “What’s Your Vision” vision board party, Single Winning On Purpose Conference, Annual Single Mother’s Holiday Retreat and She was invited to share her story on Kingdom Girls XM Radio show and XM- those to watch Radio show. Other accomplishments LaShonda has achieved are working with the Burke High School Lady Bulldogs Basketball team every Wednesday on team building, motivation, encouraging, confidence building and how to be in control of their destiny. Because of the success with that group she was able to launch Girls Who Sparkle, a 4 to 6 week session teaching girl to believe in themselves, be bold, confident and fearless. Lashonda is a board member, panelist and emcee for Girls Who Brunch Tour and board member for Mothers Again Violence.  She received the invitation to be a digital facilitator in 2016 for the (PNC) Power Networking Conference and is also a part of the Kingdom Girls tour where she was the ambassador for Charleston, S.C. for 2017.  LaShonda has a goal to reach 1 million women in 2019 motivating, inspiring and cultivating them with her amazing story, She is a Dazzling Diva on the MOVE!
